Hospital Santa Maria de Faro is a functional and efficient health unit, inaugurated in 1993. It provides clinical services in medical and surgical care, both inpatient and outpatient services. In September 1999 it became the first health unit in Portugal to be awarded the NP EN/ISO 9001:2008 Certification of Quality.

Hospital São Gonçalo de Lagos was planned and built from scratch, designed to excel as a new generation hospital. Providing clinical services in medicine and surgery, both inpatient and outpatient, with permanent medical staff and external consultants. In March 2005 this hospsital was also awarded the NP EN/ISO 9001:2008 Certification of Quality.

The clinical staff and the surgical team working at the Santa Maria Hospital, Faro and São Gonçalo Hospital, Lagos is made up of highly qualified professionals with a high degree of competence and experience.

Consultation, examination, hospital admission and surgery is undertaken by a dynamic and multidisciplinary team that ensures the quality of services which you receive.

Both these HPP Hospitals offer multilingual facilities for international patients. Treatment is customized to each patient and follows an ethical code, based on the values of humanism.
