Euromedic operates scanning, diagnostic, therapeutic and dialysis centres in 15 countries across Europe.
History
In May 2006, International Dialysis Centres acquired the largest dialysis centre in Croatia - Polyclinic Sveti Duh II. The Zagreb-based Polyclinic was completely renovated and equipped with the most advanced dialysis medical equipment, and it now caters for more than 180 patients. The centre, which is located on the grounds of Sveti Duh Hospital, was the largest and most famous dialysis centre in former Yugoslavia.
Euromedic announced the opening of its latest dialysis centre in Gospic, Croatia. The centre is located in the Gospic Regional Medical Centre and was developed in co-operation with the local government as a Green Field Project. This is the second centre Euromedic owns and operates in the country. IDC Gospic will treat 65 patients on a regular basis and has the capacity to accommodate visiting patients during the holiday season. The centre has 10 haemodialysis machines and this year with a staff of 10 medical professionals will perform in excess of 10,000 treatments.
In July 2008, Euromedic acquired “Poliklinika Kalajzic” Diagnostic Centre in Split, Croatia. The acquisition includes a modern multi-modality diagnostic centre and outpatient department located in the second largest city of Croatia. The company which was established in 1993 has earned a highly respected reputation having served the community for over 15 years. This is the first diagnostic centre of Euromedic in Croatia.
The centre provides a wide range of diagnostic and outpatient procedures including: Magnetic Resonance (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, X-Rays, Mammography and Neurological exams. The centre headed by Dr. Kalajzic and his highly qualified team of 20 medical professionals perform nearly 40,000 diagnostic investigations annually.
